The Contractor agrees to perform the following services:

3. Pricing & Payment
Late payment: If payment is not received by the due date, a service charge of 1.5% per month (18% APR) will be added to the outstanding balance. If payment is more than 30 days late, the Contractor may suspend work until the account is brought current.
4. Work Schedule & Access
Client responsibility: Client will ensure the work area is accessible on scheduled days. If the work area is not accessible at the scheduled time, the visit counts as completed. Rescheduling will be billed at the normal rate.
5. Weather & Job Delays
If weather or other conditions beyond the Contractor's control prevent work from being performed on a scheduled day, the Contractor will reschedule at the next available opportunity at no extra charge. Common examples: heavy rain, extreme heat (95°F+), snow/ice, or site conditions that make work unsafe.
Extended delays: If weather or other conditions prevent work for more than consecutive days, either party may cancel the remaining work. In that case, the Client pays only for work already completed.
6. Change Orders
If the Client requests additional work beyond the scope in Section 2, the Contractor will provide a written price estimate before starting. Work will not begin until the Client approves the change in writing (email counts).
7. Guarantees & Disclaimers
The Contractor guarantees that work will be performed in a professional and workmanlike manner. If the Client is not satisfied with the quality of work, the Contractor will return to correct the issue at no charge, provided the Client notifies the Contractor within hours of the service date.
Not included: This agreement does not cover damage caused by pests, disease, pre-existing ground conditions, utility lines, or events outside the Contractor's control. Plants and materials are guaranteed for 30 days — any plant replacements are billed at cost.
8. Cancellation
Either party may cancel this agreement with days written notice. If the Client cancels after work has started, the Client pays for all work completed plus any materials ordered.

3. Set clear payment terms. "Due on receipt" is standard for one-time jobs. "Net 15" works for ongoing clients.
4. Print two copies — one for the client to sign, one for your records.
5. Take a photo of the signed copy as a backup before you leave the job site.
